Our Ngorongoro Crater Safari Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
What to do:
- Pick up from the airport and transfer to Arusha.
- Overnight at Tulia lodge.
Meal plan: bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
What to do:
- Pick up from Arusha and start driving to Tarangire.
- Distance 130km approximately 2 hours drive.
- Park entry clearance and proceed with game drive.
- Enjoy the scattered baobab trees.
- This park is home for elephants, big herds of buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, warthogs, ostrichs and many species of birds.
- Enjoy spectacular view of Tarangire river on the picnic site.
- Drive to Farm of Dreams for overnight.
Meal plan: dinner, breakfast and lunch.
DAY 3: KARATU – NGORONGORO CRATER – KARATU
What to do:
- Morning breakfast by 6am and drive to Ngorongoro for crater tour.
- Enjoy half day at this broken caldera.
- Ngorongoro is home for rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, warthogs and many species of bids.
- Visit hippos pool as well.
- Picnic lunch at crater.
- Later drive to Karatu for overnight at Farm of Dreams.
Meal plan: dinner, breakfast and lunch.
DAY 4: KARATU – MANYARA – ARUSHA
What to do:
- Depart to Lake Manyara for game drive.
- This is one of rift valley formed lake and National park.
- Its home for flamingos and migrant birds.
- Visit hippos pool close to the lake.
- Visit hot spring.
- Lunch at picnic site.
- Later drive to Arusha.
