3 days Selous Game Reserve Luxury Safari will include both game drive and nature walk. During this 3 days Selous luxury safari tour you will discover the beautiful Nyerere National Park (where you will see elephants, lions, gazelles and zebras).
On this 3 days Selous luxury safari you will also be able to do boat tour at Rufiji river, as well as nature walk on the borders of Nyerere national park which is an ideal reserve for animals
Note: boat tour will only be conducted once the road is passable. Sometimes these is problem with the road to the river.
Our Selous Game Reserve Luxury Safari Itinerary
DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM – SELOUS
What to do:
Pick up from Dar es Salaam by 4×4 vehicle to Selous.
Approximately 5-6 hours drive.
Stop for lunch on the way.
Embark on late noon boat tour.
Later drive back to Selous Kinga Lodge for overnight.
Meals plan: dinner, breakfast and lunch.
DAY 2: FULL DAY SELOUS
What to do:
Morning breakfast as from 6am.
Pick up at 7am and proceed to Selous Gate.
Explore the bush in open 4×4 vehicle.
Waterbuck, southern reed buck and bushbuck are common in Selous.
Rare sable antelopes, lions and greater kudu are also frequent in this area.
Stop for lunch at picnic site.
Later drive to Selous Kinga Lodge.
Meals plan: dinner, breakfast and lunch.
DAY 3: SELOUS – DAR ES SALAAM
What to do:
Early coffee at 6am.
Meet your guide and start driving for walking tour until 9am.
This is best time to explore the nature accompanied by your local guide and an armed ranger.
Later drive back to the camp for breakfast.
Pack and start driving back to Dar es Salaam.
Drop at your Hotel.
