1 Day Trip climbing Kilimanjaro Marangu route will start from Arusha to Marangu, the foot of Kilimanjaro. This is the main entrance and headquarters for Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. You will meet your local guide at the gate and start trekking to Mandara Hut while exploring the beauty of Kilimanjaro and Chagga slopes. It’s nice time to see a lot. Later visit Coffee Farm, test and make coffee. Lunch to be served at local restaurant there. Continue with village walk. Meet your driver and start driving back to Arusha before dark.
ARUSHA – MARANGU – ARUSHA
What to do:
- Meet your driver at 7am and start driving to Marangu.
- Arrival at the gate and proceed with permit clearance.
- Meet your guide and proceed to Mandara Hut 2,700m from the sea level.
- It will take 4-5 hours.
- On arrival at Mandara Hut you will take your lunch the start descending to Marangu Gate.
- Walk back to the main gate.
- Make short visit to local Chagga Coffee Farms.
- Learn on how to make coffee and chocolate in traditional ways.
- Visit the waterfalls.
- Later start driving back to Arusha before dark.
- Transfer to your Hotel for overnight.
